TAMPA, Fla. — There will be right away design on the Selmon Expressway Reversible Specific Lanes (REL) resulting in a detour for the evenings of June 26 and 27.
The REL ramps will be underneath construction and westbound targeted visitors will be detoured off of 50th Avenue. The detour will just take motorists to SR 60 (Adamo Generate) and then back on to the Expressway at 22nd Avenue. The tolls at 22nd Road will be waived through the detour.
The detour is scheduled for Sunday, June 26 from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. and Monday, June 27 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
On an ongoing basis, nighttime lane closures will come about during this venture.
