Punjab election success: Jalebis, dhol at Bhagwant Mann’s dwelling as AAP can take big lead

The mood at the household of Bhagwant Mann, the Aam Aadmi Party’s chief ministerial prospect in Punjab, was festive as the counting of votes took place for the assembly election on March 10.

The Arvind Kejriwal-led occasion has currently crossed the greater part mark in Punjab with in excess of 60 seats. Punjab assembly has 117 seats.

Exit polls experienced also predicted a victory for AAP in the Punjab assembly elections.

Mann’s supporters were witnessed dancing to the beats of a dhol outside the house his household. Just one man or woman waved a broom, AAP’s symbol, in the air.

Before in the working day, Mann provided prayers at a gurdwara in the district.

Mann, 48, a comic-turned-politician, fought the assembly election from the Dhuri seat in Sangrur. He  was up from Congress’ Dalvir Singh Goldy and Shiromani Akali Dal’s Parkash Chand Garg.

In 2017, Goldy experienced defeated AAP’s Jasvir Singh Jassi Sekhon from the seat.

Mann had joined Aam Aadmi Bash ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2014.

The 48-year-previous experienced gained the 2019 normal elections by 1,11,111 votes from the Sangrur constituency, getting AAP’s only Lok Sabha MP from Punjab.
